We are campus leaders.
We are community leaders.
We are agents of change.
We believe that through service, education advancement, cultural awareness and appreciation, and political engagement we are empowering student leaders to make a significant contribution within the university community, and beyond our college experiences, as successful professionals. We founded our organization in 2010 to create a diverse collection of undergraduate students striving towards such broader mastery of leadership development, community building, and understanding the
university from an organizational perspective. Check out our Maize Page and

Do you possess the desire to lead? Are you passionate about serving others? We cultivate a strong community of mentorship, and encourage anyone interested in becoming a PILOT member to contact Hector Galvan.
Our mission is to promote higher education to inner-city Detroit Hmong American high school students by encouraging academic success, exploring career opportunities, and preparing for college admission.
Our members plan and facilitate four to five workshops during the school year and work with students on-site in Detroit. Activities address areas specific to race relations, higher education goals, and career planning. At the end of the year we host our program participants on campus where they attend educational workshops, have lunch in a residence hall, and meet with currently enrolled U-M students.
