One-on-one Tutoring

To support scholars in their academic pursuits, SuccessConnects offers tutoring in a variety of the most commonly challenging courses at the U of M. Tutoring occurs for one hour each week in a one-on-one fashion, during the Fall and Winter semesters. For the Fall 2020 semester, tutoring will take place remotely, in one-on-one virtual sessions. SuccessConnects tutoring is only available to scholars who meet regularly with their coach, ASP, or GSP.

Tutors are current U-M students who have previously taken these courses. Availability is limited; sign up is first come, first serve. To request tutoring or to see the list of classes that have tutoring, please ask your coach, ASP, or GSP for more information.

Study Tables – not offered for the Fall 2020 semester.

Study Tables are another partnership with the Michigan Library whereby SuccessConnects scholars have a consistent place to study together in the Hatcher Graduate Library Sunday- Wednesday from 6-10pm. Study tables take place in the “ScholarSpace” on the second floor of Hatcher, a space that features flexible group-collaboration tables, white boards, computers, printers and human resources such as PICs and Academic Success Partners to foster a community of productive scholarship.
