Hello everyone! I was born and raised on the westside of Detroit, married for over two years, and a new father to my daughter, Peyton. I enjoy sports, traveling, video games, and rollercoasters rides because I am a bit of a thrill-seeker. I am a first generation college student and received four college degrees (definitely wasn’t planned lol). Two of my Associate degrees were from Henry Ford Community College (2009) & Oakland Community College (2011). Afterwards, I completed my undergraduate studies at Madonna University (Bachelor of Social Work, 2013) and went on to graduate school at Eastern Michigan University earning my Masters Degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs (2015). I am passionate about elevating the persistence, retention, and graduation rates of students of color and first generation college students on campus. Working in this field gives me the greatest opportunity to give back to current students what I looked for and needed as a student and I look forward to continuing this opportunity by working with you!
