The University of Michigan Health Sciences community presents the 36th Annual MLK Health Sciences Lecture: Health Equity, Power Dynamics, and the Future of Healthcare. This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Beverly Malone, Chief Executive Officer of the National League for Nursing, whose decades of leadership in nursing, health policy, and social justice continue to shape national conversations about equity in care delivery. Following the keynote, there will be a moderated panel discussion exploring how structural power, professional influence, and community-centered approaches can transform the future of health systems. A reception will close the event, offering space for reflection and connection.
