“Food as Freedom” will kick off the 2025 Food Literacy for All course, which is being organized around the theme “Food and Care”. This event is a part of the annual “Food as Resistance” partnership between Michigan Dining and Food Literacy for All and will feature Tambra Raye Stevenson, a nutrition educator, policy advisor, and food justice activist. Join us for Stevenson’s one-hour lecture and a reception catered by Michigan Dining, featuring dishes with personal connections to the identities and culture of the Michigan Dining staff preparing them. Food service begins at 5:30PM and the speaker, and livestream, will begin at 6:30PM.
Register for the event through the Food Literacy for All course site, and find the livestream link there for virtual attendance.
