Michigan-Connect (M-Connect)

If you are a student at any of the following community colleges

  • Henry Ford College
  • Jackson College
  • Macomb Community College
  • Oakland Community College
  • Schoolcraft College
  • Wayne County Community College District

And you are considering attending the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, then Michigan-Connect (M-Connect) program is specifically designed for you!

By attending community college for two years and meeting specific requirements, you will be considered for admission to one of thirteen undergraduate schools and colleges at the University of Michigan.

Through M-Connect you can receive:

  • Assistance in selecting classes that are transferable
  • Access to group meetings and seminars that make your transfer smoother
  • Access to research opportunities
  • One-on-One counseling at UM
  • Access to a mentoring program at UM
  • Orientation to UM resources
  • Guidance through the UM application process

You will also benefit from networking with other transfer students before and after enrolling at UM. M-Connect gatherings provide the opportunity to build community and connect you with resources, as well as providing the support you need to successfully graduate.
