Coaching
Mentorship that grows with you
SuccessConnects scholars work with different coaches at every stage of their undergraduate careers. Coaches help scholars connect with their peers, access campus resources, build academic skills, and find employment opportunities.
First-year students work with an OAMI staff member who provides one-on-one support and encouragement during the transition to college.
After their first year, scholars work with an Academic Success Partner (ASP), an older student who exemplifies academic excellence and social involvement.
Students who are further in their studies work with a Graduate Success Partner (GSP) who has completed undergrad and can provide tailored guidance on career trajectories.
Tutoring
Support for your academic excellence
SuccessConnects offers tutoring for some of the most common challenging courses at U-M to support scholars in their academic pursuits. Tutoring occurs for one hour each week in a one-on-one fashion during the Fall and Winter semesters.
Community
